In this alternative therapy series I would like to take you on a journey through a series of alternative therapies that can not only heal your body, but heal your mind & soul. Natural therapies look at all parts of the body, soul & mind as one – there is no separation. Illness and disease is not always a consequence of 1 thing, it is a combination of poor diet, poor lifestyle, poor thinking and old programs. So join me on this journey of discovery through the many alternative therapies in the Quest for healing and the attainment of Enjoying Perfect Health.
B.E.S.T. stands for Bio Energetic Synchronisation Technique – B.E.S.T. is a gentle energy balancing procedure that is hands on – it helps to re-establish the full healing potential of the body, by asking the body what it needs and what it needs to clear. It is a way of clearing negative emotions, old programming that no longer serves you & false beliefs. The principles of this therapy acknowledges the concept of interference that we create with our conscious mind and the understanding that the body makes no mistakes, regarding health and longevity. This interference causes imbalance in the autonomic nervous system leading to exhaustion of our organ systems over time. Education Seminars, B.E.S.T. is recognised as an effective Healing Science that has been researched at major Universities and taught in several Chiropractic Colleges.
B.E.S.T. is undertaken by touching certain pressure points, in the proper sequence, and having you think about a specific memory stress. Your body then begins to re-communicate with your brain, as your brain controls all functions of your body. When the brain and the body work together to bring about body balance you find you begin to feel the restoration of health and a feeling of wellness. By balancing your body with B.E.S.T. they attempt to do everything they can to allow your body to heal, to repair, to rebuild and to enjoy perfect health.
In the B.E.S.T. system there are four (4) main areas of treatment – Physical B.E.S.T., Emotional B.E.S.T., Family B.E.S.T., and Animal B.E.S.T.
As I have always said and believed ‘the body can heal itself‘, given the right tools and opportunity. Physical B.E.S.T. is scientifically based and utilises light pressure contacts on the surface of the body and addresses parasympathetic and sympathetic imbalances. It offers a non forceful way of updating patterns of stress and discomfort, which has led to both acute and chronic conditions. The practitioner administers the technique in the prone position and offers immediate relief to the client, who experiences relief from symptoms and enjoys the painless approach to health and wellness. B.E.S.T. is about identifying the pattern and unlocking the power within each of us. This power is available to everyone – it is our birth-right, no matter who you are.
Emotional thoughts such as worry, guilt, fear, judgment etc can become factors in our programming and memory patterns. The B.E.S.T. system utilises some advanced technology that has been developed to update higher brain interference from expression in the physical body. Emotions can interfere with our divine plan for our desire to enjoy perfect health and wellness. The interference, formulated by conscious thought in turn becomes a pattern which prevents the true expression of our physical bodies healing capability.
Emotional B.E.S.T. is an advanced procedure to help identify this emotional pattern, update the interference, and then allow the body to function based on current situations rather than past experiences. This procedure usually takes between 5 and 15 minutes to complete.
Family B.E.S.T. is about prevention, balance and wellness within a family setting. Family B.E.S.T. can be taught by your practitioner and infants & children respond very quickly – whether 1 hour old or 100 years old, a body out of balance will never fully heal. Family B.E.S.T. is a very relaxing procedure and can easily fix minor aches & pains, headaches, stress, muscle tension and the like. It is easily learned and an excellent hands on approach to family wellness.
Animal B.E.S.T. rebalances your pets body and redirects positive energy flow to all organs and systems within. Animal B.E.S.T. chooses to acknowledge and honour the inner healing life principles which reside in all living systems – your pets included.
My Experience with B.E.S.T.
I recently had the privilege to trial a B.E.S.T. session with my long time friend Lianne (details below this post), along with my husband David. The session was very relaxing and very interesting. Before your session, the practitioner asks you to right down 2 lists, the first one is your “People Interaction List” and the second list is “Life Experiences List”. The practitioner does not need to read these lists, they are kept personal – however during your session the lists are located under the pillow. During the session the body gives the practitioner a number on the list and you then have to think about that person or experience for healing.
You lie down on a massage table fully clothed and the practitioner commences to ask your body questions via the legs. The legs & hips have limited movement and once the blockage is released it frees them up. Lianne, my practitioner located a blockage for me from before my birth and she came up with a date of the 26th January, 1944, I was given some words to work on that came from questioning the body. My words were True, Friendship, Right & Bliss. You are also asked to think of various things whilst the procedure is in process.
The practitioner confirms the diagnosis via muscle testing of the arm – a few areas on the head are located by areas of tenderness and the pressure areas are held until the tenderness goes away. The blockage is then finally released by you, thanking and giving gratitude for healing.
After the session I was a bit wobbly on my feet and you need to walk around for a while to bring you back into yourself. You are then given some exercises to do and given information on breathing exercises and methods to facilitate forgiveness. I really enjoyed this session and found it fascinating – I felt really well afterwards and the results get better over time.
I feel B.E.S.T is a great modality to free yourself of negative thoughts & beliefs and to let go of old programs that are holding you back. You can use B.E.S.T. for healing and also for moving forward and achieving your goals. I would also recommend more than one session and as I do with most therapies that I like, I tend to incorporate regular sessions as my moto is “prevention rather than cure”, so my attendance at natural therapy session is what I call “preventative maintenance”
